Student answer (Band 5.0)
Well here I would i like to talk about new generation and new technology which is growing all over the world . Now a days life is become very easy and fast for all people around the world .I would like to tell about the on goin payments ,it is very easy to use and it comes instantly in your account which very good . If we see the pros of it , its very safe that no one should carry heavy money in the purse or wallet and around 70% shop keepers plus big mall are taking online payments or Google pay . Sometimes it is also easier to pay small amount incase people do not have coins so as the time is passing and technology is growing this online purchasing have made each person very comfortable for using all this digital cards.
And the con part of this is that for oldies its very difficult to use all online payment . For them its easy to pay money to shopkeepers or in the grocery store. It is relevant that all the malls and show room should use cash also it makes it easy for everyone .
My thoughts on this is every where every thing should be used like online, cash, cards so that its easier for every individuals . I would like to use everything so if sometimes online payments are not done and if card is not working we use cash. So everything should be used.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons why some people might be reluctant to adopt it. However, the development is quite limited. The ideas are presented in a somewhat informal, conversational tone rather than an academic or formal essay style. The arguments regarding the 'pros' and 'cons' are brief and lack depth or specific examples beyond general observations. To achieve a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure your position is clearly stated and maintained throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical flow is weak. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive (e.g., 'it is very easy', 'it is very safe'). The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'all this digital cards', where the pronoun does not clearly link to the preceding ideas. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points or provide a final, well-developed thought.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'new generation', 'very easy', and 'very good' are used frequently, which limits the range of expression. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'on goin payments' (ongoing) and 'oldies' (which is too informal for an IELTS essay). The essay lacks the range of less common lexical items required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more precise vocabulary related to finance and technology, and avoid informal or colloquial language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('life is become'), article usage ('the on goin payments'), and sentence structure ('all the malls and show room should use cash also it makes it easy'). The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. Complex sentence attempts are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, punctuation, and ensuring that verbs and nouns are used correctly in context.
