Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been observed that in the upcoming years, individuals required to use e-payment modes such as credit cards, debit cards, mobilephone apps etc. to purchase necessities. They will not be able to do payments by cash. I do not think that the traditional method of payment will be completely disappear because the security and convenience that provided by such method are not replicated. Some people might not be support to modern pyment modes. The reason behind this is discussing in the ensuing paragraphs with appropriate examples.
Scrutinising the reasons. The foremost one is that, cash payment is most secure mode of payment. There are no risks of of online fraud and online scames.
people can make payment by hand to hand, can count by them selves while payment ,as this cash method is more reliable than other payment ways. Individuals do not required to carry number of cards with them. There are no barriers like bank issue, low internet connecetion, paymenet is not made etc.. at the time of payment. For instance, nowadeys cybercrimes have been increasing rapidly in regards of UPI payments. people have faced big money losses. There is no possibility of such crimes in cash payment method.
Furthermore, cash payment is the most simple process and it also reduces unnecessary spendings. There are not require to follow any complex steps or process while doing payment by cash. It is too easy. It is convenienet for all ages people. Additionally, it can prevent over spending. As mentioned before people first count the notes, make sure about amount of money by them selves. Its make people realise that how much they spend, how much they have after paymenet, how manage that amound etc.. as result they can not spent over unnecessary things. for example, Individuals carry some amound of money as cash wich is set limit for them for spending. so they can not able to buy other unearned things. Consequently, people can save their money.
To conclude, though other modes of payments are more advanced and convenient it can not replace the cash payment method because it provides more safety, simple process, reduces over spending and convenient for all tyes people. as result individuals can not give up using cash.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless society and the reasons why some people might resist this change. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding the 'security' and 'overspending' arguments. While the ideas are relevant, they lack depth and could be better supported with more nuanced analysis rather than repeating the same points about counting notes. The response covers all requirements, but the arguments remain at a somewhat superficial level, which limits the score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Scrutinising the reasons' and 'As mentioned before' are used in a way that feels unnatural or forced. Additionally, some transitions between sentences are abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'it' in the conclusion without a clear antecedent. While there is an overall logical progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the repetitive structure of the paragraphs prevent a higher score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word-choice errors, such as 'not be support to modern pyment modes' and 'unearned things'. Spelling errors are frequent (e.g., 'mobilephone', 'pyment', 'connecetion', 'nowadeys', 'amound', 'wich'). While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range of vocabulary and the consistent spelling issues demonstrate a lack of control over more complex lexical items.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Individuals do not required', 'There are not require'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('is discussing' instead of 'is discussed'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and misuse of commas. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting and demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures.
