Student answer (Band 5.5)

(2) Cash back discount.

In coming decades, majority of persons will not pay payment by cash while using shopping so pay bills may be through phone applications and cards. I strongly believe it will be occuren as soon. Despite this, a group of individuals do not interested to pay by credit, debit cards instead of using cash. This essay will discus about why I think why that situation will happen and why people still have interest to using cash.

To be commence with, let us delve seeper into the reesen behind that sceniro. First one foremost, the prominent reesen is cash back and discount on shopping. To be more specific, a huge shopping malls have beening offering huge discount and cash back opportunity for getting gifts and cash. To cite on example walmart gives 3% cash back on pay bills by walmart reward master card while cash. Consequency, it attracts to public for using to applying cards. Second furthermore, in modern ear, caring carrying cash is a horrible and difficult task for humans because it hard to protect it from theft thief. To explain it, crime rate has increased day-by-day in hustle areas due to stolen cash in public place so online payment are safest option for public.

Insipte of that, people are still interest people have still preferred to cash as do not want to give up to cash because of high rate plummet annual maintenance are plummeting yearly. To clarity it, the annual fees of cards are higher and unnecessary burden of average public.

Moreover, some time individual con forget to pay bills for corebit cords as a result the fees increase for penbing amount. to illustrate, CIBC crebit cord system does not spe sens ony notification for due date for payment onb it has beening increasing monthly as a consequence, it is not a herculeen tosh for fublic to pay for it.

To encapsulate, it con be conclubes that it is not deniol the fact that human shell not eapble to pay with cesh due cash convers into cords onb online application. As a result, in my perspective it will happen however, people have not leaved to cash due to its own benifits.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless society and the reasons for resistance to this change. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the points regarding incentives like cash-back and security are relevant, the explanation regarding the 'annual maintenance' fees and the 'CIBC' example is slightly repetitive and lacks clarity in its expression. The essay covers all requirements, but the depth of analysis is limited by the frequent linguistic errors, which occasionally obscure the intended meaning.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First one foremost', 'Second furthermore', and 'To encapsulate'. However, the usage is often mechanical and sometimes grammatically incorrect (e.g., 'To be commence with'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is sometimes disrupted by awkward phrasing. While the overall structure is coherent, the lack of precision in linking ideas prevents a higher score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'occuren', 'reesen', 'sceniro', 'insipte', 'herculeen tosh') and word-choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'pay payment', 'modern ear', 'hustle areas'). The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'cash back' and 'annual maintenance', but the overall control is inconsistent. The errors are frequent enough to occasionally impede the reader's understanding.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response shows a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is poor. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement, article usage, and word order (e.g., 'majority of persons will not pay payment', 'a huge shopping malls have beening offering'). Many sentences are grammatically fragmented or contain non-standard phrasing that makes them difficult to parse. While the meaning is generally recoverable, the high frequency of grammatical errors significantly impacts the quality of the writing.
