Student answer (Band 5.5)
In upcoming years, natives of the country would prefer to pay by card instead of using cash. I concord with this statement as buyers would tend to pay by other resourse and there are many reasons associated with it those I will explain in upcoming paragraphs.
As far as the causes of using cards and mobile apps to pay would be burgeon as the availability of easy money transfer app would be make people to pay by this mediums as it would keep them safe from any fraud. Another consideration reason is that it takes time to exchange money with others but it would give them flexi time and geographical independences and would save their precious time. last but not least, paying buy this medium would be very useful at the time of long distance travelling as travelers do not need to gather coins and they can use it just click of button.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons why some people might be reluctant to abandon cash. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you provide reasons for the shift, the second body paragraph is somewhat repetitive and fails to clearly articulate the specific concerns people have about giving up cash (e.g., privacy, security, or the digital divide). The position is clear, but the arguments lack depth and specific examples, often relying on vague statements. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-supported point rather than restating similar ideas about convenience.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical use of cohesive devices. For example, the transition 'As far as the causes of using cards... would be burgeon' is grammatically incorrect and confusing. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences is often disjointed. While you attempt to use linking phrases like 'Last but not least' and 'on top of it', these are sometimes used inappropriately or in a way that does not effectively connect the ideas. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the reader follow your argument more easily.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often inaccurate. There are several instances of word-choice errors that impede meaning, such as 'natives of the country' (likely meaning 'people'), 'resourse' (resources), 'burgeon' (used incorrectly as a verb here), and 'squander time'. The phrase 'resplendent walk of life' is an example of using complex-sounding words that do not fit the context, leading to unnatural expression. To reach a higher band, focus on using vocabulary that is precise and appropriate for the context of a formal essay, rather than attempting to use sophisticated words that you are not fully confident in using correctly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often make the text difficult to understand. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('availability... would be make'), tense usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or contain redundant words, such as 'at them of grocery' and 'any another site'. While you attempt some complex sentence structures, they are often faulty, which limits your ability to convey ideas clearly. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that your subjects and verbs agree. Proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect prepositions will also significantly improve your score.
