IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future, people may no longer be able to pay for things in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones. Do you think this will happen one day? Why do you think some people might not be happy to give up using cash?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
This is twentieth century, this country is developing in a better way. Numerous people have loved to pay via card instead of cash. In future i’m sure that every payment is made by card or mobile phones. These days plenty if like car or riksha drivers have jazzcash, easypaisa so that whoever book ride they can pay by mobile phones. So obviously, in future they will be machines too to swipe cards and pay. In this emerging world, this is bot an impossible thing.
However there are also individuals who have bot card they canbot afford bank accounts, so it’s challenging for them to pay by cards.
First of all, in my opinion both things should be done, because if it’s up to me i also like to pay by cards or mobile phones. I usually don’t have cash with me all time. So, it is convinient for me to pay online or by card. I’m completely agreeing with that one day, in upcoming years it will definately going to happen.
On the other hand, it is not possible for numerous of pupils in pay online because some of them don’t know about technical thing as well as some are not that rich to have accounts in banks. So i believe it should be in both ways, so it is up to individuals that how they want to pay.
To summarize this whole, I think some people are not happy giving payment by cash, and honestly i am one of them. so it is should be tackle in both ways if people want to give payments by cash, they can give. If some individuals want to pay by cards or online, they can pay by these means. In an upcoming year, we should prevail these facilities and manage or money in both ways.
