IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future, people may no longer be able to pay for things in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones. Do you think this will happen one day? Why do you think some people might not be happy to give up using cash?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this contemporary society, techonolgy is increasing day by day. Individauls are liking online payment instead of giving cash to the shopkeeper. I will discuss this notion in the following paragraphs with conclusion.

First and foremost, nowadays, techonolgy is upgarding all things. People like to use techonolgy, because they use smart work not hard work. Due to, technology and smartphones all people are love to use online money transfer instead of cash. since, it is more convinent to carry money. Secondly, they easily use cards rather than pay with cash. furthermore, sometimes they donot have change and coins and cash to pay. So they can easily use the online banking money to pay their bills. For instance, there is a lots of apps are avaiable which are providing cash backs, gift coupons, reedem vouchers etc. That is why, manu people are liking to use payment with cards not with bills.

Moreover, this things are starting from 4-5 years and it will continue in the future. Individuals love to pay with cards as well as they donot carry money. Because, they think pay with cards are easier to pay with cash. For example, today in this society, all shopkeers have card swipe machine. further, this was easy method to up to date with their money flow.

To be concluded, all things have their own benefits. If people may no longer be able to pay for goods in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones in the future. So, it will be efficient use of techonolgy.
