IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future, people may no longer be able to pay for things in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones. Do you think this will happen one day? Why do you think some people might not be happy to give up using cash?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
As we all know, Technology changes the world into a very easy and safe world. Now a days people mostly use their cradit cards for their shoppings and further needs because it should be very safe and also comfortable to carry in their purse or bags. I strongly agree with this statement that people will always pay by cards rather than by paying cash.
Initially, people thaught paying cash by hand is a good option but when technology introduce the method of paying cash by their online bank accounts or by cards so, people have tendacy to open their online accounts on banks and make their safe bank accounts and pay everything with cards. Furthermore, paying by card is more convenient and comfortable process. And also people set pin codes of their cards for safety and privcy purpose, yet this method is such a safe and comfortable method. In coming days we mostly wachted people should always prefer to pay by card. And also it looks more modern to pay by card.
On the other hand, there are also some people who still thaught that paying by cash is good method because they they do not have any knowlwdge about online payment methods they still thaught that online bank accounts are fake and they also affraid of scam by bank they do not have any awareness about using technology for their safety purpose. Usually, there are also dont know about using cards in ATM machines. While, they did not know the importance of having bank accounts.
In conclusion,In future people should always prefer card payment method because using card is much safer and also never worrying about the snaching , robbery or stealing. it also easy to carry and several types of benefits take place.
