IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future, people may no longer be able to pay for things in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones. Do you think this will happen one day? Why do you think some people might not be happy to give up using cash?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In upcoming era, using the cash or phone has been become a debatable part . According to future resources, People think that all the transactionas will be done online by phone and people will not using the cash. In my opinion, the larger propotion of people would gave their preference toward the online payments. Therefore some people will never gave up on cash due to many reasons.
The former reason why it will happen one day is convenient. To be specify, folks do not need to carry cash all the time with them. if they want to buy anything they can purchase by using their phone within seconds. In addition, they donot need to worry about cash stolenor lost . sometime people lost their purse and they got theft. so that why people like to use their card and phones. Another reason is Time saving. To be more preciouse, if people have to use the cash they need to go to bank to withdraw cash and have wait in queue. furthermore, Bank will also apply the transaction fee for withdraw cash, if they will use the online menthod they do not need to go bank. it will help them to save time as well as money. As a result, people will use the phones and cards.
some people will still use the cash because if they might buy anthing and there phone batter is low and bank server is breakdown then how they gonna puchase things. if they would use the cash in future their not digital records of payments. therefore, people will not stop using cash completely.
In conclusion, using the both cash and phone or card would be prefer by folk as per their requirements. the usage of cash will not be forbidden.
