IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future, people may no longer be able to pay for things in shops using cash. All payments may have to be made by card or using phones. Do you think this will happen one day? Why do you think some people might not be happy to give up using cash?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this modern era, there are plenty of changing happend in our life.However, there will be changing happen in certain thing in upcoming days. As, pupil will not able to pay for their items in store to using cash.Because, all payment will convert into the online instead of cash.But i dont think that cash will disapper compeletly but the usr of cash will be decrease in upcoming days.

Nowadays, most of the work is done by digitally. As, it is more quicker and reliable. Currently, folk are prefer to carry one card instaed od of carrying lots of money with them. Because, sometimes we lost the money if we can not put in safe place wile we can place card anywhere in our pocket or back of the out phone case or we can also load the card in the smartphone .Moreover, with the card we can do very fast payment. For instant, if we'll go to the store and do order we need to do just the tap on payment machine while for cash we have to counting that it is perfect or not.And in this hectic days, people prefer the online shopping instead of going to the store.

Although, i believe that, few people will not happy to give up using cash.However, in the emergency the cash is best option to pay our bill. For illustrate, if we go to the store and when we will do payment and the payment machine will not working due to some technical problem or our card will be decline or something else at that moment the cash will be play the crucial role to pay bill. However, on online there is option of cash that deliver boy or girl will take when they hand off our product and which is the best idea for that because we check product at that moment and return that product at that time. So , i think pupil will not joy if cash will visible.

In conclusion, I think that cash is very impotant in our life as card and phone. I know that, in this digital era, online plateform are more usable than cash because of the easy to use and more reliable. But i dont think that cash will fully replace by the card. Because, nowdays some of the payment done by cash like in bank and in other thing.
