Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this technological era, everyone wants to learn something new related to the technology. The way of payments which was always debatable has now become more controversial with many individuals think it is beneficial while others might not be happy with that. It would be very difficult to give up totally of using the cash payments. I do not think that will happen in future, as I will elaborate my view in the upcoming paragraph.
First and most important reason behind this is that regarding technology and internet, because the method of payment with card or using phones connects directly to the internet. Sometimes, server of internet is down and not working properly then, it would be very difficult for the shop owners to take payments. Another striking point in this trend is related to the lack of knowledge about the technology. some people does not have much knowledge about this payment applications in terms of having problem to remember the password.
For instance, India is wise country and there are different kinds of age group, so it is not suitable for elder people to use this payment method smoothly and it leads to the negative side of the development.
On the other side, there are several benefits of using this payment method to make it very easy for the youngsters. If people pay with the card, they don't need to carry a cash with them. Moreover, people does not need to go bank to withdraw the cash money for their everyday use.
In conclusion, although it is not possible to give up completely the use of cash, there are compelling reasons to believe that both payments method have their own benefits. Ultimately, it would be beneficial for the society as people use both the methods of payments as they need,
and therefore It may not happen in the near future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task. You gave a clear opinion on whether cash will completely disappear and provided reasons why some people might be unhappy about giving it up, such as internet server issues and a lack of technological literacy among older generations, supported by an example mentioning India. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed or repetitive, such as the general points about youngsters and card usage. While the position is clear throughout, the development of ideas aligns closely with the Band 6 descriptor where all parts are addressed, but some areas could be extended further with deeper explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different arguments. However, cohesion at times feels mechanical or faulty, such as in sentences like 'First and most important reason behind this is that regarding technology and internet...' and 'On the other side...'. Referencing and logical connectors are sometimes awkward, placing this text at a Band 6 level where information is generally organised, but logical progression could be smoother and cohesive devices are not always used naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases like 'technological era', 'controversial', and 'compelling reasons'. However, there are notable word choice and phrasing issues, such as 'give up totally of using', 'server of internet', 'payment applications', and 'wise country' (likely intended to mean populous or diverse). These minor inaccuracies and awkward collocations place your lexical resource at Band 6, as the vocabulary is sufficient to communicate your message, but errors in word choice are present throughout.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The text contains a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some attempt at variety. However, there are frequent grammatical errors in subject-verb agreement and articles, such as 'some people does not have', 'elder people', 'carry a cash', 'people does not need to go bank', and 'both payments method'. These errors do not completely impede communication, but they occur regularly enough to prevent a higher score, fitting the Band 5 to Band 6 profile. Because many sentences are understandable despite the errors, a Band 6 is appropriate.
