Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the future, the individuals don't be abel to use cash for purchasing in markets or malls or real shops. In a few years maby the one purchasing way is using card or phone.

In my opinion, it will be goes in the real life, because the cash is avoulate and find to difficult to use in everyday life. However I like cash, I want to tell you the youth don't abel to calculate them and use them properly, becaouse of math. Simple way to use card, or phone, because you dont need calculeting any sum or numbers. It is very convenient, but I think this time you don't check properly the amount of money. In may experience is ,nowadays many people choose this way to shopping. It will the future purchasing to use by card.

I like to use cash, because it is real and I abel to handel them. I think, when I use by card shopping I lost the real amont of money and don't follow them. It is when I spend too much and don't use a good deal in the shop. While I use currancie or cash I know the amount of money and don't send a lot. This is why I like cash.

Some peopel think a same way to spend money, and might be it became the future.I think tehse peapole afraid of loosing money, or afraid of robbery,or simplle not like cash.

In conclusion, the future beginn, the technique is growing day by day and we need to follow this way , because we are falling behind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view that cashless payments are likely to become more common, and you explain why you personally prefer cash: it helps you track spending. You also mention possible concerns such as robbery and losing money, so the response is relevant to both parts of the question. However, the reasons are only partly developed. The point about young people struggling with calculations is difficult to follow, and the concerns of people who dislike giving up cash are listed rather than explained. Clarify whether you think cash will disappear completely or simply become less common, then support each reason with a specific example or explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure: you introduce your view, discuss your own preference for cash, mention other people’s concerns, and conclude. This gives the reader some organisation. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. For example, the discussion moves from young people’s maths skills to convenience and then to checking spending without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “However,” “While,” and “In conclusion” are used, but some connections are awkward or repetitive. Make each paragraph focus on one main idea, and use clear references and transitions to show how each reason supports your answer.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “cash,” “card,” “phone,” “robbery,” and “amount of money,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to interpret, such as “avoulate,” “currancie,” and “the future beginn.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “the one purchasing way” and “use a good deal in the shop.” Aim to learn accurate topic collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for payment methods, spending habits, and concerns about cash would help you explain your ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both short statements and longer sentences with reasons, such as “I like to use cash, because it is real and I abel to handel them.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and frequent errors in verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. Examples include “it will be goes,” “the individuals don't be abel,” and “I lost the real amont of money.” Some sentences also run together, as in “It is very convenient, but I think this time you don't check properly the amount of money.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then connect them with subordinate clauses using correct verb forms and punctuation.
