Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both parts of the question: you predict that electronic payments will replace cash and identify older people and those who are uncomfortable with technology as groups who may resist. However, the position and supporting ideas are only partly developed. The opening says this change “will be happen,” but gives little explanation of why cash might disappear entirely; the examples mainly explain why digital payments are convenient. The point about people who are “not educated” to use devices is relevant, but needs explanation or a specific example. The response is also below the required 250 words, which limits how fully you can develop your reasons. Add a clearer explanation of the future trend and develop both sides with relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph about the convenience of digital payments, a contrasting paragraph about people who may prefer cash, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction understandable. However, progression is limited, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “in contrast” introduces a relevant opposing point, but the paragraph gives only one brief reason and does not connect it to a specific example. The conclusion repeats the contrast between “youngsters” and “seniors” rather than drawing the ideas together. Use clearer topic sentences and develop each paragraph around one main point, with linking phrases that show the relationship between reasons and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “cash,” “payment,” “comfortable,” and “count,” and you attempt relevant terms such as “electronic device.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural: “during their shopping time,” “not satisfy to give up,” and “old people like carry cash.” Spelling errors such as “eassy” and “eassy” (intended as “easy”) also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common phrases for this topic, such as “make a payment,” “give up using cash,” and “feel confident using technology.” More precise vocabulary would help you explain the reasons without repeating simple wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Most sentences use simple structures, and you attempt a few longer forms, such as “if we give cash and we need to count properly.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, sentence structure, articles, and agreement occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “this will be happen,” “mostly people using card,” and “if they are not educated how they can able to do.” The final sentence, “seniors will not be happy with is,” is also incomplete or unclear. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and agreement. For example: “Some older people may prefer cash because they are not confident using mobile payment apps.”
