Student answer (Band 5.5)

In my point of view, this will happen soon that, people will not use cash, they will use card instead. some people will oppose this statement, because they do not want to lose physical money. I will explain my points in upcoming paragraphs.

The first and foremost reason is making payments with card or phone is easier than cash. we just have to tap.For example, with cash , we do have to count the amount than give to salesperson, but through tap enter the amount and payment is done. As a result, we are saving a lot of time. This method is beneficial in big bussiness , where they have to crack big deals.

Secondly, it is hard to carry physical cash all the time. For instance, we are doing with friends or family but, accidently we like something expensive. Due to short of cash we could not bought. This feels littke bit anoying and frustaing as well. Here card plays bigger rules, we can tap and buy.

Some people oppose of this, in their point of views, physical money is more secure than card. If cards are stolen by anyone then we can lose our all amount or anyone can hack it easily. others points can be like, they do not want to leran new technolgy again to catch up with new generations.

To conclude, although physical cash is secure, paying with cards or phones will take place in future very soon. It can save money and times. The most important easy to carry.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you predict that cash will be replaced and give reasons some people may resist, including security concerns and reluctance to learn new technology. Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion. The convenience argument is supported with a comparison between counting cash and tapping a card, while the example of being short of cash when out with friends helps illustrate the practical benefit. However, the prediction that cashless payments will happen “soon” is asserted rather than explained, and the security and technology concerns are listed briefly without showing how they affect different people. Develop these points with a specific example or explanation, and make the conclusion’s reasons more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining the benefits of cashless payment, a paragraph on objections, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “The first and foremost reason,” “Secondly,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “Some people oppose of this” does not clearly identify what “this” refers to, while “Here card plays bigger rules” is difficult to connect smoothly to the preceding example. Improve cohesion by using more precise references and linking ideas through explanation rather than relying mainly on paragraph-opening signals.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “physical cash,” “secure,” “stolen,” “hack,” and “technology.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “big deals,” although this is not a natural fit for the point being made. Noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the reader pause: “bussiness,” “anoying,” “frustaing,” and “leran” are examples, while “plays bigger rules” appears to confuse “role” with “rule.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “short of cash” in this context. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for payments, security, and consumer behaviour.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “If cards are stolen” and a contrast introduced by “although.” The main ideas are generally understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. For example, “we do have to count the amount than give” has an incorrect comparison structure, and “we could not bought” uses the wrong verb form after “could not.” There are also sentence-boundary and punctuation problems, such as “we just have to tap.For example,” and several sentences begin with lowercase letters. Practise accurate past and modal verb forms, complete sentence construction, and punctuation; these improvements would make your varied ideas easier to read.
