Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is projected that in the upcoming future, all payment methods will be switched by cards and phones from cash in shops. In my perspective, this will definitly occur someday and few people might feel due to the safety measurements by this change.

There are significant chances of vanishing cash payments from the market. Legislation will promote it in order to grow national economy. Almost every country wants to track their economy, which is harder to do because of extreme flow of physical cash. For example, managing ladger would be chellenging for a company, if the transations are done in cash without any records. Similarly, nations would not recommend to work with cash so they can trace the nation's finance.

There might be some citizens, who will not appreciate to use cards and phones rather than cash. Working with cash is easier than using elecronic or card payments because of safety purposes. The growing number of scams and frauds makes people wary of their financials, which could be untrackable. Most of the time, for instance, mobile contact details are connected to debit and credit cards, along with mobile banking apps. A single unoticable click on unverified website link can risk all of the personal information that phones contain about these, and if they lost money, that is hard to track and very rare possibility to get the money back. As a result, using cash is a secure method to keep money safe.

In conclusion, in my opinion, although administrators will emphesis to use cards and digital payment methods for country's economy in near future, numerous people will feel insecure using them and will prefer to use cash.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you expect cash to disappear from shops, while recognising that some people will resist the change. You address both parts of the question and give relevant reasons, including government interest in tracking financial activity and concerns about scams and lost money. The example of a click on an unverified link helps illustrate the security concern. However, the prediction that legislation will promote cashless payments is asserted rather than explained, and the economic argument about cash records is not fully connected to why shops would stop accepting cash. Develop these points with a clearer chain of reasoning and a more specific example to make the response more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion returns to the main position. The progression from government tracking to individual security concerns is easy to follow, and phrases such as “For example” and “As a result” help signal relationships. Some connections are less clear, however. The opening says people may feel unhappy “due to the safety measurements,” which does not clearly express the concern later discussed. In the second paragraph, the link between company ledgers and national financial tracking could also be made more explicit. Use clearer referencing and transitions that show precisely how each example supports the paragraph’s main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “legislation,” “track,” “scams,” “frauds,” and “unverified website link,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “safety measurements” does not convey the intended concern, “extreme flow of physical cash” is awkward, and “financials” is not the right noun in this context. There are also spelling errors such as “definitly,” “ladger,” and “transations.” Aim for precise, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. For example, use established phrases such as “cash transactions” and “financial records” rather than translating ideas word by word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if the transactions are done in cash” and a longer sentence explaining the risk of a suspicious link. The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some grammatical errors and awkward constructions reduce clarity. For instance, “few people might feel” is incomplete because the feeling is not stated, and “Legislation will promote it” has an unclear pronoun reference. In “if they lost money, that is hard to track,” the tense and reference are not well controlled. Work on completing clauses, making pronouns refer clearly to a noun, and maintaining consistent tense. Breaking the longest sentence about mobile details and lost money into two sentences would also improve control.
