Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary world, everything is getting advanced and digital. According to my perspective, all payments will be cashless in future. Even if we look at our surroundings, most of the transactions are online staring day from taking ticket from vending machines at subway or at the end of the day, ordering online food.
There are various benefits of making payments by card and phones. First and foremost, secure and protected, our young generation prioritize more about security and safety. This is one of the major reason of promoting more digital world. According to a survey, Residents feel more secure and stress free to have money in their accounts rather than at their home. Which also brings a great reduction to minimize robbery and theft cases in the country.
Secondly, Most of the companies, school and organisation pay employee salary in their bank account. which encourage them to do more online payments than cash. Moreover, it is convenient to carry a card or apple pay than carrying a purse with bills and coins. Illustrating with an example, one of my friend forget to carry his wallet for a dinner, However, he logged his account with phone and did apple pay. This measure helps him to pay at that time and make his life easy.
On the contrary side, There are people who cannot trust online services such as old age people, poor people. They still like to carry their purse for payments. Additionally, lack of knowledge is the main reason behind that. According to a report, Government is doing more workshops and events to spread more information in country. Furthermore, some people like and comfortable in their traditional mode of payments and do not want to adopt new ways.
In conclusion to this essay, advantages weighted against the drawbacks, such as lack of awareness, it can be fixed with consideration of proper solutions. In my view point, Having a digital world will have more benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the prompt: you predict that cashless payments will become the norm and explain why some people may resist, including older people, people with limited means, and those who prefer familiar payment methods. Your position is clear in the opening and conclusion, and the examples about salaries being paid into bank accounts and your friend using Apple Pay help support your view. This meets the task well overall. However, the reasons for resistance are less fully explained than the benefits: for example, you mention distrust and lack of knowledge but do not clarify what risks people fear or how these affect their choices. Develop those points with specific explanations to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure, moving from your prediction to benefits, then objections, and finally a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow this progression, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “On the contrary” make the main stages visible. Some linking is mechanical or imprecise, however. “On the contrary side” is an awkward transition, and the sentence beginning “Which also brings” is a fragment whose connection to the previous idea is unclear. The conclusion also introduces “proper solutions” without explaining them earlier. Use transitions that express the exact relationship between ideas, and connect examples and explanations more smoothly to strengthen the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including terms such as “transactions,” “robbery and theft,” “online services,” and “traditional mode of payments.” These choices make your main points understandable, and the personal example adds relevant detail. There are also several inaccurate or unnatural collocations that limit precision, such as “everything is getting advanced,” “secure and protected,” and “spread more information in country.” Some word forms and expressions are also imprecise, including “old age people” and “comfortable in their traditional mode.” Aim for more natural combinations and precise phrasing, rather than relying on broad expressions such as “digital world.” This would make the argument sound more fluent and controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including conditional phrasing (“Even if we look at our surroundings”) and a relative clause (“people who cannot trust online services”). The overall meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors recur and occasionally interrupt the flow. For example, “Which also brings” is an incomplete sentence, while “one of my friend forget” has errors in number and verb form. There are also agreement and sentence-boundary problems in “Most of the companies, school and organisation pay employee salary … which encourage them.” Capitalisation after full stops is inconsistent, and some commas divide sentences incorrectly. Review sentence completeness, subject–verb agreement, plurals, and punctuation while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
