Student answer (Band 5.5)
Due to the adavancement in technology things are changing day by day.In Upcoming time individual may only buy things from card or online.I feel this is absoluty right as cash is about to disappear. While few indicvidual not agree with this. So i am going to discuss the reason of it in the upcoming paragraphs.
On the first hand, as technology ia increase day by day and individual become educated. They feel holding money everytime with them is a extra burden.Athough this generation is educated, knowledgable so they want to do anything in short and quick time.So this people prefer to pay by credit or just they add a card in their apple pay wallet and they just tab anywhere and complete transaction. So cash will definately use shorter or eventhough disappear in future. Moreover, people thing its carry more time to exchnsge cash return or get formthe shopkeer, so they dont want to waste their time.for instance as per my personal view that i dont even carry a card with me i already add my debit or credit car in my iphone wallent setting, so whenevr i visit ant shop or get anything so i simply make the transaction through my phone as i fell it convenient and fast.
While, others people not happy with this view as they thing they dont wan tto change their lifestyle. As per they want to adopt the previous method only like handover the cash to shopkeeper.Furthermore sometime card or tab process is not working due to technical issue, so they think cash is a safe process to use any time.
To conclude, i feel that in the upcoming time card, phone payment will definately replace the cash. And more and more people start purchasing goods through debit, credit or phone pay.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you predict that cash will be replaced by card and phone payments, and you explain that some people prefer familiar routines and may worry about technical failures. Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion, and the personal example about paying with a phone helps illustrate convenience. However, the reasons are not developed equally. The explanation of why people resist change is brief, and the concern about technical problems would be stronger with a specific example, such as a network outage or a person without a bank account. Clarify whether you think cash will disappear completely or simply become less common, then extend each main reason with a consequence or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting cashless payments, a paragraph presenting objections, and a conclusion. The ideas generally follow a sensible order, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “To conclude” help signal progression. However, some linking is mechanical or awkward, including “On the first hand” and “While, others people,” and the long first body paragraph combines several points without clear sentence boundaries. References such as “this people” also make connections less clear. Use topic sentences to distinguish each reason, divide the extended paragraph into shorter units, and choose linking expressions that accurately show contrast or addition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “technical issue,” “transaction,” “credit,” and “debit,” and you attempt phrases such as “extra burden” and “adopt the previous method.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts difficult to read. For example, “tab anywhere” is unclear for making a payment, while “cash will definately use shorter” does not express the intended meaning. Frequent misspellings such as “adavancement” and “exchnsge” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “as technology…” and a contrast between people who support and oppose cashless payments. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but control is uneven: some sentences lack a complete or correctly formed clause, and punctuation often joins separate ideas too loosely. For example, “While, others people not happy with this view” needs a subject and a finite verb, while “people thing its carry more time” has problems with verb form and sentence structure. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. Practise building complete subject–verb clauses, then use full stops to separate ideas and check agreement and verb forms.
