Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, money plays an important role in everyone's life. One group supports that shops will stop accepting payments in cash and they will completely rely on UPI or different online methods. But, one side supports that it will not going to happend and cash will still available in the market. I diagree with that, Cash plays an important role into daily transcations. In this essay I shall discuss both the views.

To commence with, the state-of-the-art technology plays a major role into day-to-day life. People almost using their phone for many things and net banking and different online payment methods make its easier for regular transcations. For example, every shop owner prefer to take payments online because it gives them relief to count the cash and make it faster. Moreover, online applications gives huge discounts and cashback offers to customer. Customer easily attracts to those offers and start using that app. For instance, when new application lauch into market they will provide lucrative discounts to their user so there app can easily gets customers and it will benifts the buyer and seller as well.

However, some people will still using cash for there daily tasks. Old people feel comfortable to do transcations in a cash method ratherthan using online methods. To examplify, cash is old and secure method and people do not want to give up their old habits. To add up, senior citizens are easy target for scammers because they are not aware of new technology. It is hard for old people to learnm new technology every single day and people also do cheating with them and some big transcation require to pay in cash. For instance, Gold jewellary payments requires cash payment if amount is exceed then online payment method limit.

To conclude that, Online applications will superiority complex over cash but to eliminate its completely is not possible and cash will always remain in the system.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the prompt: you predict that digital payments will become more dominant, and explain why some people may resist abandoning cash, especially older people concerned about unfamiliar technology and scams. Your conclusion also gives a clear view that cash will not disappear completely. However, the position is not consistently clear in the introduction: “I disagree with that” does not clearly identify which view you reject, and the opening presents opposing views without directly answering whether a cashless future will happen. Some support is relevant but under-developed, such as the claim that certain large transactions require cash. State your prediction precisely at the outset and explain how likely a fully cashless system is, using more specific support for each main reason.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for digital payments and continued cash use, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “To conclude” help signal the direction of the discussion. The progression is generally understandable, but some linking is mechanical or unclear. For example, “One group supports” and “one side supports” do not clearly identify the positions, while “To add up” is an awkward transition into the point about older people and scams. The first body paragraph also moves from convenience to discounts without clearly showing how these points support the prediction. Use more precise references and transitions, and organise each paragraph around one main reason followed by explanation and an example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “net banking,” “cashback offers,” “scammers,” and “senior citizens,” and you attempt less common expressions such as “lucrative discounts.” This gives you enough range to discuss the topic, but inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “superiority complex over cash,” “cash method,” “easy target,” and repeated misspellings such as “transcations” and “happend.” Some phrases also sound unnatural, including “new application launch into market.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording: for example, describe digital payments as “more convenient” or “increasingly widespread,” and say that older people may be “vulnerable to scams.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “For instance.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “it will not going to happend” has an incorrect verb pattern, “People almost using their phone” lacks a finite verb, and “applications gives” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence beginning “To conclude that” is also not formed correctly. Practise building accurate basic clauses first, then extend them with one clear subordinate clause. Check verb forms and agreement, and use punctuation to separate complete ideas.
