Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, in morden society, the internet plays a big part in human daily life. Including payments and expenses, people are more likely to spend money by online applications rather than cash. On the country, there are some people that think paying with cash is better than cards or phones. From my perspective, it seems possible that real money will slowly disaapear. These statements will be discussed throughly in the paragraphs below.
Since 2020, online payments have been used increasingly due to the Covid-19 pandamic. People could not go outsite and buy things directly by themselves, so companies created new currency platform on their phones. Therefore, people tend to use those apps to purchase items conveniently. As time goes, these platforms become really popular and used worlwide. That being the case, the number of using cash has declined significantly.
On the other hand, there are some groups of people who oppose this trend of buying goods. For example, our grandparents could not use phones and cards, they only prefer cash. In my opinion, they might think these apps make people shopaholics and lazy. And I think that is true because instead of driving out just to buy groceries and other essencial things, why don't they just sit down, type on their devices and buy them at home. But these activities can also make them develop a bad habit and become unhealthy more easily than those who go outdoors.
In conclution, in the near future, the possibility of cash vanishing might grow even further. Some may not be happy with the results but they have to adept their habits according to the chanching environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you predict that cash may gradually disappear and suggest why some people resist cashless payments. Your position is clear in phrases such as “it seems possible that real money will slowly disappear,” and the pandemic-related growth of online payments is a relevant reason for your prediction. However, the explanation of why people may object is less fully developed. The example of grandparents who cannot use phones or cards is useful, but the claim that apps make people “shopaholics and lazy” is not clearly connected to their reluctance to give up cash. Develop this point with practical concerns such as privacy, security, or difficulty accessing digital services, and support each reason more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining the growth of online payments, a contrasting paragraph about people who prefer cash, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument, and the ideas generally progress logically. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, a few connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “These statements will be discussed” is a formulaic signpost, while “But these activities” does not clearly identify which activities or explain how they relate to cash preference. Use more precise references and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “online payments,” “purchase items,” “declined significantly,” and “vanishing.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable and sometimes make the writing less natural: “morden,” “pandamic,” “outsite,” and “chanching” should be corrected, while “new currency platform” is not an accurate description of payment apps. Some phrases are also awkward, such as “the number of using cash.” Aim for accurate collocations and forms, for example “the use of cash has declined,” and proofread carefully so spelling errors do not distract from your argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “People could not go out … so companies created…” and a conditional-style question about buying groceries from home. Most of the message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in sentence construction and punctuation. “Including payments and expenses, people…” is an incomplete opening construction, and “there are some groups of people who oppose this trend of buying goods. For example” needs clearer sentence separation. The question “why don't they just sit down…” also shifts into direct address and does not fit smoothly with the surrounding formal discussion. Work on complete sentence structures, punctuation between sentences, and maintaining consistent point of view.
