The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:

• say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
• explain why you won't be able to attend the party
• give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr and Mrs Collins,

I hope you and Chris will be doing great. Thank you for calling me to Chris's birthday party. I am feeling amazed to know Chris will pass his teen age and will enter his 20s on his birthday. Chris will surely enjoy his surprtise birthday party with his friends and loved ones.

Unfortunately, I cant attend the surprise party that you have arranged. I have an exam on that day and I have to go out of the town for my exam. surely, there will be a guilt in my heart for the chris.

However, I have decided to take Chris to his favourite restaurent for the dinner on the following weekend. I also want to surprise Chris with a little present and enjoy the moment. we will be having a great night on that day.

Dont forget to say happy birthday to Chris from my side and I hope you will relish him with the surprise and he will definetaly enjoy it.
