IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:

• say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
• explain why you won't be able to attend the party
• give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr and Mrs Collins,

Dear Mr and Mrs smith

I hope that you are well. I am writing to thank you for your invitation for your son's birthday celebration party.

I am very sure that Chris will love that surprise party because he enjoys spending time with friends and family. Furthermore, as long as I know Chris, he rarely gets surprises in his life due to busy schedule, so I think that he would definitely like this party where he would enjoy his time with different feelings.

As you know that I am very busy with my police exam practice and have to go to academy so that I can be prefect for physical training, therefore I won't be able to come in the party.

I would like to tell Chris that after giving my police exam, I would come to see you at the end of next month. we will not only spend time together, but also enjoy my success if I passed the exam.
