The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:

• say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
• explain why you won't be able to attend the party
• give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr and Mrs collins,

I am writing a letter about my Australian friend Chris's surprise birthday party, which is invited by his parents.

I and his parents know that Chris likes to get surprises, and his parents will decide to give a surprise birthday party on his birthday. If his parents give a surprise party, he will get happiness and will get a smile on his face because he does not get any surprise birthday untill now.

I work at an Amazon delivery station, and my job time is at night. His parents arrange this special occasion for the night. So, I am unable to attend this beautiful party. But I wish that Chriss would enjoy it by getting a surprise party, and it will make a memorable party for him.

Furthermore, I promise him to meet at the Remember Cafe after his birthday week, and I will take a holiday for 3 days, especially for you and my parents. We will go to the Cinéplex for watching movies and make the happiest day for us.
