IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:

• say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
• explain why you won't be able to attend the party
• give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr and Mrs Collins,

Dear Uncle,

I got your letter yesterday about the birthday party that you are organizing next month for Chris on 4th of September in Calgary as well as I deem that it is a very good idea because he will definitely like that as he loves to get suprise.

Moreover, I am so glad that you invited me to attend this party and get a chance to meet with my buddy and enjoy some quality time with him, but unfortunately I will be out of country for three weeks for a business tour to America that will be started from 28th of August and will not be able to attend the party. I am apoloziging to you about it, I hope you will understand my situation.

Apart from it, I am coming to Calgary in this October to attend a Business Fair than, I will come to see Chris as I will be there for about 4 days so, I will try to get some time of from work and come hom to meet all of you.
