The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:

• say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
• explain why you won't be able to attend the party
• give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr and Mrs Collins,

Hope you both are doing well. I am Manan Modi and I would like to thank you for the invitation for Chris's surprise birthday party. I am sure that Chris would remember this party for his entire life.

To begin with, Chris would definetly going to enjoy the party because all his friends will be there to make his day memorable. Moreover, he would going to love the sipder man birthday theme as he is his one of the favourite super hero.

unfortunately, I would not able to attend the party because I have to take my grand mother to the hospital for her daily check-up. My parents are not in the town; therefore, she is my responsibility.

I am planning to meet Chris in the morning before the party, I will take him on a lunch so that we can spend some time together.

Again, thank you for the invite. Let me know, if you need my help in preparation. It would be my pleasure to help you.
