IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:
- say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
- explain why you won't be able to attend the party
- give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr. Sharma,
I hope you are doing well,
I am happy to hear from you that you are organising a birthday party for Chris. I am sure that he will definetely enjoy the party because his kith and kins are coming to join a special event. Also, he enjoyead a lot and feel morre happy by celebrating the party.
I am not able to atend that party due to urgent work in my office. Also, I have to attend an important metting which I cannot delay. I fell really sorry that I am not coming to attend your birthday party.
I will be coming to Australia in next month with my elder brother. We are planning to come on October 15, 2026. After we arrived then we are going to explore the new places and also spend some quality of time together.
I am graetfull to see you in the next month.
