The parents of your Australian friend Chris have invited you to a surprise birthday party for him/her. Write a letter to Chris's parents. In your letter:
- say why you think Chris will enjoy the surprise party
- explain why you won't be able to attend the party
- give details of a plan to see Chris at a different time

Dear Mr and Mrs collins,
I am writing to thank you for inviting me for chrish's surprise party. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attened the party because I have my IELTS test on that day.
When I was reading the invitation, I felt goosebumps. Chrish will be very happy with the surprise party. In my opinion, he will love the idea of inviting his childhood friends.
I am very sad that I will be unable to be there on Chris's 18th birthday. My sister booked the IELTS test for me. As a result, she chose the same day for the test because it falls on Sunday.
I would like to inform you that I will be there two days after his birthday. I have a great birthday gift for him. I am planning to buy him a playstation 5 because he loves gaming consoles.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding the other suprise elements of the party. I hope to see you soon!
