It will be really gonna be a one of her memorable day in her whole life because she mention in our conversations that she love surprises. Moreover, many of our friends not met from so many days, so she will feel so happy when she saw them in the party.

Unfortunately, I am trvelling to India next week to attend my sister's wedding. I booked the tickets a month ago and it's a mandatory function where I had no option to cancel the trip. I am really gonna miss the party. However, I will be back to Australia on ocotober 05, If chris is available on very next weekend we will hangout together in her favorite restaturant.

I will send a text in the whatsapp, Please don't forget to share the Pictures and the videos of the party.

Take care,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your letter successfully covers all the required bullet points, addressing the purpose of the communication clearly. You explain why Chris will enjoy the surprise by mentioning her love for surprises and the joy of seeing friends. You also clearly state why you cannot attend due to a family wedding in India, and you offer a detailed alternative plan to meet up after your return on October 5th. All parts of the task are appropriately addressed, though some ideas, such as why she will enjoy the party, are somewhat brief and could be extended further to demonstrate fully developed reasoning. The tone is suitably friendly and appropriate for a personal letter to a friend's parents.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a clear, logical progression of ideas from greeting to the closing sign-off. You divide your thoughts into readable paragraphs that separate the apology, the reasons for absence, and the alternative plan. However, cohesion is occasionally mechanical or slightly faulty in its referencing and transitions, such as the abrupt shift into discussing the WhatsApp message at the end. While cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'However' are employed to link your thoughts, referencing pronouns such as 'she mention' and 'when she saw them' requires slightly smoother integration to ensure seamless flow throughout the text.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for a general social context, attempting some less common phrases like 'mandatory function' and 'hangout together'. However, there are noticeable spelling, word-choice, and word-form errors that reflect a developing control of vocabulary. Examples include 'trvelling' instead of travelling, 'ocotober' instead of October, 'restaturant' instead of restaurant, and awkward phrasing such as 'Chris birthday party' instead of Chris's birthday party. While these errors do not seriously impede communication, they highlight the need for greater precision in spelling and lexical collocations to reach higher proficiency.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

Your writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to use varied structures like conditional and subordinate clauses. However, there are several errors in grammar and punctuation that persist throughout the letter. Examples include tense and agreement inconsistencies such as 'It will be really gonna be a one of her memorable day', 'she mention in our conversations that she love', and 'many of our friends not met from so many days'. Additionally, punctuation and comma placement issues appear, such as the comma splice in 'If chris is available on very next weekend we will hangout together'. Despite these errors, the meaning remains largely clear and communication is rarely impeded.
