Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent times, the hiring of personal fitness trainer has seen a hike in some countries due to the evolution in the life style and changing environments where the global warming is there, heat waves are hitting, season's and weather is unpredicted. In my opinion this is a positive development as it provides personalised services and also supports hike in the employment for the people.
Firstly, This gives customised fitness solutions to people according to their current health status like diabeties, PCOS, heart condition, mental health or physical injuries in alignment with their respective daily routines, Instead of standard plan or routines for everyone that might not have desired effects for everyone equally. E.g a workout routine can help a young person lose wait however for someone with PCOS and demanding professional life might need different set of workout routine.
Secondly, It also plays an important role in employement and career options open for the people who are inclined towards the fitness. In classes or sport there can be only one teacher, mentor or coach, however with personal fitness training development more and more people can pursue the profession and get employement due to the same. E.g coming generation who are passionate about fitness, workout and routines can take some training and pursue the profession of personal fitness trainer and even provide employement to other through reference going forward.
In conclusion, I believe that hirirng personal fitness trainer is a positive and upcoming growth oriented development that can benefit both the people hiring and the providers. Which in return contributes in the countries GDP.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The ideas are relevant, such as the need for personalized health plans and the economic benefits of job creation. However, the development is somewhat limited. The reasons provided for the trend (global warming, heat waves) are a bit tenuous and not fully connected to the rise of personal trainers. The argument for it being a positive development is clear, but the explanation could be more deeply explored with more specific examples or a more nuanced discussion of the potential downsides to ensure a more balanced perspective.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. The use of cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are abrupt. For instance, the link between the introduction's mention of global warming and the subsequent paragraphs is not well-integrated. Referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure could benefit from more sophisticated linking words to improve the logical flow between sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'evolution in the life style' and 'growth oriented', though some collocations are slightly unnatural. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'diabeties' (diabetes), 'employement' (employment), and 'hirirng' (hiring). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a wider range of precise, academic vocabulary to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the hiring of personal fitness trainer'), pluralization, and punctuation (e.g., 'E.g a workout routine...'). Some sentences are run-on or lack proper subject-verb agreement. While the student attempts complex structures, they are not always error-free. To improve, the student should focus on basic grammatical accuracy, such as article usage and consistent verb forms, before attempting more complex sentence patterns.
