Student answer (Band 7.0)
In some countries, people are hiring more personal fitness trainers rather than playing sports or doing exercise . This trend definitely has advantages but at same point some disadvantages also exist in this point .
In my viewpoint , having personal trainer is very beneficial because training is given on basis of individual needs , goals , strengths and according to their capacity . Personal trainer also helps to keep individual active by providing good details of nutrient food which helps to again results easily. And people who are not comfortable in doing exercise in groups this works best for them. Additionally , people who want to gain or reduce weight sometimes feel under confident , personal training may help to gain confident and they can give their best .
Moreover , people with busy schedule can adjust their timing according to their preference . Even they can attend classes online if they are unable to travel to their place . For example , one of my friend who have very introvert personality admires to do gym a lot but he don't prefer going to gym because their he have to interact with people so instead of that he hired a personal trainer
It also have some demerits like hiring trainer is also very expensive for normal individual . Also , with this social interaction and teamwork with people decreases and people start feeling stressed. I believe advantages outweigh disadvantages. Regular sports and classes are valuable but may not provide same attention to individuals . A personal trainer can help to stay consistent with long-term goals and results.
In conclusion, the increasing number in trainers help people to gain their individual lifestyle goals .Overall ,I consider that with this positive change people take responsibility to stay healthy and keep active lifestyle.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend (individualized attention, flexibility, privacy) and expressing a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The ideas are relevant and generally well-supported, though some points, such as the mention of 'nutrient food' or the impact on social interaction, could be developed with more depth to reach a higher band. The structure is logical, and the position is consistent throughout the essay. To improve, ensure that each reason is fully explained with a clear link back to why it makes the trend a positive development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Additionally', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed, such as the transition between the benefits of online classes and the example provided. Referencing is generally clear, though some minor errors in pronoun usage (e.g., 'their he have to') slightly affect the smooth progression of ideas. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate and supports the logical development of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'individualized needs', 'introvert personality', and 'demerits'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'providing good details of nutrient food' instead of 'nutritional advice' and 'gain confident' instead of 'gain confidence'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise vocabulary usage and better awareness of collocations to achieve a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'one of my friend who have', 'he don't prefer') and article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear throughout the text. To improve, the writer should focus on subject-verb agreement and proofreading for basic grammatical slips, as these errors currently prevent the essay from reaching the 7.0 band for grammar.
