Student answer (Band 6.0)

Exercise plays a significant role to improve the human health. In some countries, people started hiring a personal trainer rather than playing sports and going to exercise classes, help individuals to stay motivated, get personalised plan and snatch some time from their hectic schedule.

To begin with, booking a personalised trainer always keep you to stay focused and give you the recommended plan for your diet and exercising time, due to which individual can focus only on areas which are lacking behind. For instance, some people join exercise classes with the help of personal metor to cure the Asthama problem due to which, individual will get the plan to get proper nutrition and exercises to cure this disease and increase the immunity system.

Secondly, majority of people are working professionals which keep them busy for the overall day in the office, which significantly leaves no time for them to maintain their health. However, spending a lot of money to book a trainer, motivates to exercise on the regular basis. Additionally, by working in the office, exhausted the human body completely, as a result, this pattern leaves no time to focus on body.

From my perspective, this is considered purely as a positive development. Though, the fees are higher for getting the personal trainer, but this helps to keep the body wealthy. In this world, nothing can be compared to the healthy body, spending some money only give a postive change in our busy schedule to have sometime to maintain health.

To conclude, by observing all the above reasons, this development must be considered in a positive way by getting a monthly/ annually membership for trainer.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for hiring personal trainers and the evaluation of whether this is a positive or negative development. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention motivation and personalized plans, the explanation of why this is a 'positive' development is quite brief and relies on general statements like 'nothing can be compared to the healthy body.' To improve, you should provide more specific examples or deeper analysis regarding the societal impact of this trend, rather than just focusing on individual convenience. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Secondly,' and 'To conclude' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are slightly awkward, such as 'due to which individual can focus only on areas which are lacking behind.' Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the internal structure of the paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly rather than relying on repetitive structures.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'snatch some time,' 'personal metor' (spelling error), and 'body wealthy.' You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct context, such as using 'tailored' instead of 'personalized' or 'strenuous' instead of 'exhausted the human body.'

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'Exercise plays a significant role to improve the human health' should be 'in improving human health.' There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'the Asthama problem' and 'the personal trainer.' While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms.
