Student answer (Band 6.0)
In many countries, nearly all the people are interested in hiring fitness trainer, as they don't prefer to play sports or doing excercise classes. As it seems good,to have a trainer with you to guide step by step. On the other hand, joining excercise classes won't give the proper attention of the teacher, as a fitness trainer can give you that.
Hence, the idea of hiring a personal fitness trianer is good, because they provide full attention to detail excercises, set your routine and diet as well. They proivde proper plans, which are required to be followed as per your weight and body. Probably, hiring a personal trainer provides keen insight about the excercises that needs to avoided and not essential to one's body. They also provide, proper regime of protein intake and, suggest some good supplemets as well. For example; in Karachi gyms such as Gravity, Pulse Fittnes & TriFit offers good month packaging for personal trianers.
On the other hand, hiring a perosnal trainer has it drawbacks as well. Because many of trainer charges a very high fees, which is usaully not afforable for many individuals. Some, of the traines provokes to initiate the the intake of steriods, which has serious side effects later on. For example; at Tri Fitt a three month package with a trainer costs around Rs.95K to 150K which is quite alot.
In my opinion hiring a fsitnnes trianer is a good option, but after through research about trainers, it is the individual's duty to ensure that the fitnnes have good experience and good reputation among its clients, only then persue hiring such trianer in order to avoid any problems in near future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for hiring personal trainers and the evaluation of whether this is a positive or negative development. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of personalized attention and the drawbacks of high costs and potential health risks like steroids. However, the development is somewhat limited. The explanation of why people prefer trainers over classes could be more nuanced, and the conclusion is a bit repetitive. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments would benefit from more depth to reach a higher band. Overall, the task is addressed adequately.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the reasons for hiring a trainer to the drawbacks and finally the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the repetitive use of 'On the other hand' and 'For example'. The transition between sentences is occasionally abrupt, and some referencing is unclear, which affects the flow. Despite these issues, the paragraphing is appropriate and the overall structure is coherent.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'regime', 'supplements', and 'steroids'. However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'trianer', 'excercise', 'proivde', 'fsitnnes', and 'persue'. These errors are frequent and occasionally distracting. While the range is sufficient to convey the intended meaning, the lack of precision in spelling and some word choices prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'nearly all the people are interested in hiring fitness trainer' (missing article), 'the exercises that needs to avoided' (subject-verb agreement and passive voice error), and 'many of trainer charges' (pluralization error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures.
