Student answer (Band 6.5)
It has been noticed that in my nations, the habits of individuals related to fitness have been changed drastically. Instead of playing sports and engaging in physical activities, people prefers to hire a certified personal trainer. I can observe this as a positive trend for society because of multiple reasons.
To commence with, the majority of people hiring fitness coaches either they lack fitness knowledge or they have a particular fitness goal which they have to acheive in a certain time period. Certified trainers are often popular for their diverse knowledge in physical fitness such as exercies and diet. People who have demanding schedule or limited mobility hire personal trainers for their convenience. For instance, if we have any bone injury, it is often recomended by doctors to hire a professional physio therapist to escalate the mobility and recovery of injured joint or bone. Morover, sometimes peple need certain physical transfoemation and this can be either personal or professional. Individuals often wants to reduce or gain wait for their special occassions such as wedding. Similarly, some professionals such as Actors or Models often needs to cut weight or build muscles as per their role or shoot requirements.
However, this is a positive shift for the society, since it provides employment opportunities to the population. Along with, it also help people to get professional guidance to meet their goals. In the competetive world, such opportunities can help the young generation to build their career. Similarly, a personal fitness trainer can help senior citizens and busy individual to stay active and fit convemtiently from the comfort of their home. if individuals have time, especiallly the young generation, they should involve themselve in playing sports because with fitness it also helps them to build essential life skills such as teamwork and harmony.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for hiring personal trainers and the evaluation of this trend. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the reasons (lack of knowledge, specific goals, convenience) are relevant, the explanation of why this is a positive development is slightly repetitive and could be more deeply explored. For instance, the link between personal training and employment opportunities is a good point, but it could be better connected to the broader societal impact. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'For instance', and 'However' are used to guide the reader. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical, and some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. Referencing is generally clear, though some minor issues with pronoun agreement (e.g., 'either they lack') slightly disrupt the flow. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the reasons from the evaluation of the trend.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary such as 'physical transformation', 'mobility', and 'professional guidance'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'acheive', 'exercies', 'recomended', 'peple', 'transfoemation', 'wait', 'occassions', 'competetive', and 'convemtiently'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable, although they do not impede overall communication. A wider range of less common lexical items would be required for a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people prefers', 'Actors or Models often needs', 'individuals often wants') and article usage. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some errors in sentence construction that require the reader to re-read for clarity. Despite these errors, the meaning is usually clear, and the errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the writer's argument.
