Student answer (Band 6.0)
In todays world, hiring a personal physical training cotch is becoming more prevalent among more number of individuals. I think this is a positive change as it offer job for trainers and lessen the chances of injury.
To commence with, nowadays all the people are working, they rarely get spare time for physical activities. They cannot go for walk everyday or attend yoga classes on regular bases. Therefore, people like to hire a trainer for twice or thrice in a week to help them in intense exercise so they can meet their goals in decreasing their body weight or manaing healthy lifestyle. I hired a trainer two years before in order to gain my weight and I remember he always forced me for going to gym and do workout and it worked for me.
I think hiring a trainer is a positive development because one can get a job and it would help to decrease the unemployment rate. Along with this, the person who is getting training feels safer in expert hands. This would decrease the risk of injury among people. Trainers are educated regarding body and how intense someone can do workout and they help people to not go out of their limis.
Furthermore, hiring personal trainer can act as a theraputic for some people as they work alone whole day and feel bore at the end of their shifts. Doing excercise with someone can rejuvenite their moods instead working out all alone.
To conclude, I think that hiring a personal trainer is good for people for proving them safe environment, expert training, and for meeting goals. Overall, this is a positive development.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing reasons for the trend and a clear position on whether it is a positive development. The ideas are relevant, such as the convenience for busy professionals and the safety aspect of professional guidance. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, the point about job creation is mentioned but not deeply explored. The personal example provided is relevant but could be more effectively integrated to support the argument. Overall, the response is clear and maintains a consistent position throughout, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. Referencing is generally clear, though some phrasing, such as 'more number of individuals', is slightly awkward. The paragraphing is appropriate, and the progression of ideas is logical, which supports a Band 6.0 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'prevalent', 'rejuvenite' (a misspelling of rejuvenate), and 'therapeutic'. However, there are several spelling errors ('cotch', 'manaing', 'limis', 'theraputic') and some awkward collocations like 'more number of individuals'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the message, the frequent spelling errors and limited range prevent a higher score. The lexical control is consistent with Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'it offer job', 'on regular bases', 'forced me for going', and 'feel bore'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are issues with article usage and verb agreement. The errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text, though they rarely impede the reader's understanding. Given the mix of structures and the frequency of errors, the performance aligns with Band 5.5.
