Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for hiring personal trainers and the evaluation of whether this is a positive or negative development. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While you mention the influence of role models and the cost of trainers, the explanation of why this is a 'negative' trend is slightly underdeveloped and relies on a somewhat confusing argument about 'freemium models'. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that your supporting arguments are logically connected to your main position. The conclusion is present but could more clearly summarise the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'the main reason behind whole situation is due to' or 'To be conclude'. Some transitions between sentences feel abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the shift from 'role models' to 'physical games' lacks a smooth logical bridge. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the flow of your ideas significantly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'shape their body in appropriate fitness level' and 'consciousness for their body look symmetric' are unnatural. You also use some informal phrasing like 'socking results' (likely meaning 'shocking') and 'freemium models', which are not entirely appropriate for an academic or formal essay. Focus on learning common collocations and checking the spelling of key terms to improve your precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('in recent survey'), incorrect verb forms ('this trend can be change'), and subject-verb agreement errors ('this activities require'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic grammar rules like articles, pluralisation, and verb tense consistency.
