Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this contemporary era most of human have their own gym coaches to maintain their body in comparison they are not interested in doing any physical games or doing exercise. This essay will articulate why this is happening and from my point of view this is negative development at great extent.
To commence with although there are several reason behind this trend but the first and foremost people are influenced by social media. To be more precise, as they watch various gym influencers as well as famous movie actors having their own fitness trainer. Consequently, they are just coping them. Furthermore, in this modern time human beings not have enough time that they can play any outdoors games to stay fit. As a result they are just following this trend because they not have to spent their more time in this. For example, survey took place to investigate why sports are not played by more people these days which lead to result that they are busy in their work schedule. So for staying fit they are just following instructions by their trainers.
Despite the benefits of this, there are many demerits of this. One predominant drawback is that wasting of money. This is to say, fitness trainer have their high budgets in this modern era. As a result, people can spent this money for any another work like having exercise classes which not cost much in comparison to giving lots of money to trainer.
To sum up, today's youth just following the social media and not have much leisure time to spend to do sports. As a result, it have many of negative developments from my point of opinion.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, exploring the reasons why people hire personal fitness trainers and giving a clear opinion that this is a negative development. The student attempts to present ideas regarding social media influence and time constraints, followed by financial drawbacks. However, these ideas are often limited and under-developed, lacking specific, well-elaborated examples. For instance, the mention of a survey is vague ('survey took place to investigate...') and lacks concrete details. While the position is visible throughout, the arguments would benefit significantly from greater extension and depth of support. This places the response comfortably at Band 5.5 for Task Achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal transitions, such as 'To commence with', 'Furthermore', and 'To sum up'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, sentences like 'Consequently, they are just coping them' show weak backward referencing. Paragraphing is attempted, but the logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and repetitive connectors like 'As a result'. Overall arrangement shows some organisation, aligning with the Band 5.0 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as 'contemporary era', 'fitness trainer', and 'predominant drawback'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations throughout the text, such as 'human have their own gym coaches', 'coping them' instead of 'copying them', and 'any another work'. Spelling and word-choice errors occasionally create strain for the reader, although communication remains generally clear. These features reflect the characteristics of a Band 5.0 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty. Grammatical inaccuracies are common throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('human beings not have enough time'), tense inconsistencies, and missing auxiliary verbs ('they not have to spent'). Punctuation is also problematic in places, leading to run-on sentences. While some simpler sentences are error-free, the high frequency of grammatical slips places this response firmly at Band 5.0.
