Student answer (Band 5.0)

All around the globe, A large number of individuals are prefering a tutor for their personal fitness and losing interest in playing games and classes related to fitness. in the upcoming paragraphs I will discuss the causes behind this notion also it is beneficial.

Firstly, Due to the hectic schedule people do not have a time to go to the gym whilst some feel shy in public fitness rooms due to this reason, they hire a personal fitness trainer depend on their availability. For example, I have hired one of my friend she is yoga teacher and give private classes i feel comfortable with her and due to my flexible timing she give me class depends on my calls.

Secondly, so many pupil get injured while playing sports. Moreover, it leads to permanent damage of a particular body part For instance, last year while playing football my husband got badly injured and doctors has to remove his right hand permanantly and he faced trauma and depression yet I have always stand with him like his backbone and give him motivation. Furthermore, public places contain a large number of viruses, which are harmful for sensitive skin.

To recapitulate, In my opinion private fitness teacher is far better choice compare to attend exercise classes publicly or doing sports activities since human beings feel relaxed because they do not have to share equipments with other fellow mates as well as no fear of injured body. lastly, trainer give you training more politely and do not rush even though some individuals are beginners.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the reasons for hiring a personal trainer and whether this is a positive or negative development. The writer presents a clear position throughout the essay. The reasons provided, such as hectic schedules, social anxiety in public gyms, and avoiding sports injuries, are relevant. However, some ideas lack full academic extension or drift slightly into extreme examples, which places this response comfortably in the Band 5.0 to 6.0 range. Specifically, the point about a husband losing a limb during football is overly dramatic and somewhat tangential to standard fitness training considerations. Nonetheless, the core elements of the prompt are successfully met, warranting a Band 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay displays some organization with basic paragraphing and transitional markers such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'To recapitulate'. However, the overall progression is occasionally hindered by abrupt shifts in ideas and mechanical use of cohesive devices. For instance, the paragraph addressing sports injuries abruptly pivots to mention public viruses and skin sensitivity without a clear logical bridge. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as pronoun ambiguity in phrases like 'she is yoga teacher and give private classes i feel comfortable with her and due to my flexible timing she give me class depends on my calls.' Paragraphing is used, but internal cohesion requires better management. These features align with the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but it is basic and repetitive in places. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items like 'hectic schedule' and 'permanent damage', but encounters frequent issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'prefering a tutor' instead of 'hiring a personal trainer' and 'no fear of injured body'. There are also observable lexical inaccuracies that stem from translation or poor word form control, such as 'equipments' (uncountable) and 'permanantly' (spelling). The lexical range is minimally adequate to convey the message, fitting the Band 5.0 criteria.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent basic errors, including capitalization issues ('All around the globe, A large number'), missing articles ('do not have a time'), subject-verb agreement errors ('she give me class'), and tense inconsistencies ('doctors has to remove'). Punctuation is also faulty, with run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'in the upcoming paragraphs I will discuss the causes behind this notion also it is beneficial.' While meaning is generally recoverable despite these frequent errors, the high density of grammatical slips prevents the response from reaching Band 6.0.
