Student answer (Band 5.5)

Alot of individuals are recruting fitness specialist instead of playing sports or doing exercise has been observed in this fitness era. This is because of expert guidance and due to its fruitfull out come which is accountablity

To begin with, there has been an uprsuge in fitness in this contemporary era due to that hiring fitness coach plays an important role rather then working by own. This is because alot of people are naive in fitness journey.. If they start doing workout by themselves , there might high channce that they will hurt themselves with injuries . As a result, an expert gudience not only helps them to learn right way of doing excersie or drills for sports but also provides them a nutritional diet plan which helps learner in recovery.

I believe this is a positive out come because when people exercise alone, they may skips workout or misses they gym . They feel tired. However, If a person doing traning with a tranier there have higher chances that he or she will come regularly for the training as learners are paying certain amount of money to the trainer. Resultantly, a coach will informed him regarding his progress which will help the people to being consistent. Example, The University of Cambridge revealed that most of students leave gym because of lack of consitency.

To coclude, I believe that with the help of coaches person not only can achieve their goals but also widden their horizon in fitness industry . I acknowlege this is a postive approach due to it has a furitfull outcome which is accountability.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for hiring a personal fitness trainer and whether this trend is positive or negative. The student clearly states reasons such as expert guidance, injury prevention, and accountability, and takes a definite positive stance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly regarding accountability. For instance, the point about accountability is mentioned in the introduction, body paragraph two, and the conclusion without adding substantial new depth. Furthermore, there are minor gaps in explanation. While the ideas are relevant and generally address the task, they lack the fully extended support characteristic of higher band levels. Therefore, this performance aligns best with Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay displays a recognizable overall structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though the paragraphs are relatively brief. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'As a result', and 'To coclude' are utilized to sequence ideas, but their use is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, as seen in the misspelling 'To coclude' and the awkward phrasing 'due to that hiring'. Referencing and substitution are occasionally faulty, leading to some disjointed transitions between sentences. While the logical arrangement provides a coherent flow overall, the limitations in cohesive management and referencing place this response firmly in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range, warranting a 5.5.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'contemporary era', 'uprsuges', and 'accountability'. However, there are numerous noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation throughout the text, including 'Alot', 'recruting', 'fruitfull out come', 'uprsuge', 'channce', 'gudience', and 'tranier'. While these errors do not severely impede overall communication because the intended meaning is usually clear, they occur with high frequency and prevent the response from achieving a higher band score. The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic arguments, making Band 5.0 the most appropriate descriptor match.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as conditional clauses ('If they start doing workout by themselves, there might high channce that...') and relative clauses. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, articles, and preposition use. Examples include 'hiring fitness coach plays an important role rather then working by own', 'If a person doing traning with a tranier there have higher chances', and 'a coach will informed him'. These persistent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and demonstrate poor control over complex sentence forms. Consequently, this response meets the criteria for Band 5.0.
