Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, rapid growth of people are hiring a personal fitness trainer rather than being physical active such as playing sports or doing exercie. There are many reasons for this include sedentary lifestye, busy schedules. It contains both impacts such as if hiring a personal trainer then can attain unique training but on the other side it has side effects also such as dependent, obesity.
On the one hand, now people prefer going to gym and hire personal fitness couch. They just take care of their client and tell them diet chart and encourage them to do exercise. It can lead them to gain confidence, and also advice them to do exercise. Because if a person who does not want to indulge his or herself into exercise. A personal coach can help them to participate them to various activities. I believe it is a great idea to hire a trainer because In this way we can learn about our body, how it plays important role in our lives, eat balanced meal, experience various activities.
On the other hand, there are negative effects also. One of the major is dependency. A person does not feel independent. He will rely on the coach. If some day a coach does not show himself in the gym . A person cannot do exercise on that day. Another reason is it leads to inactive lifestyle. A person cannot do his work. Because he will adapt himself in this environment. He will tired easily, and always feeling fatigue.
In conclusion, it has both positive and negative aspects. But person should show his willingness to do anything. Now In modern era people can take help from youtube, instagram .So many videos are available. I think it is not good for physical and mental health

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the reasons for hiring a personal fitness trainer (such as sedentary lifestyles and busy schedules) and evaluating whether this is a positive or negative development. The writer maintains a clear position throughout, suggesting both benefits and drawbacks, although some ideas are somewhat under-developed or repetitive. For instance, the discussion on the negative impacts touches upon dependency and fatigue, but the reasoning remains slightly disjointed. Nevertheless, the main parts of the prompt are covered, and the arguments are understandable, aligning closely with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is divided into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs exploring opposite sides, and a conclusion. However, cohesion within and between sentences is sometimes mechanical or faulty. For example, transitional phrases like 'It contains both impacts such as' and 'On the one hand... On the other hand' are attempted, but referencing and logical flow are occasionally disrupted by fragmented sentence structures (e.g., 'Because if a person who does not want to indulge...'). Paragraphing is present and appropriate, but overall progression lacks seamless connection, placing this performance in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range, comfortably supported at Band 6.0 for clear overall arrangement.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student displays an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-specific terms such as 'personal fitness trainer', 'sedentary lifestyle', 'diet chart', and 'dependency'. However, there are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors throughout the text, such as 'rapid growth of people' instead of 'growing number of people', 'being physical active' instead of 'physically active', and 'personal fitness couch' instead of 'coach'. These inaccuracies do not completely impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. Frequent errors occur, such as sentence fragments ('There are many reasons for this include sedentary lifestye, busy schedules.'), subject-verb agreement issues, and awkward phrasing ('A person cannot do his work. Because he will adapt himself in this environment.'). While some sentences are accurate, the high frequency of grammatical slips can cause occasional difficulty for the reader and prevents the writing from reaching a higher band.
