Student answer (Band 5.5)
in recent years, people in many countries like to hire a personal fitness coach, despite joining training classes or any kind of sports activities. This is because due to the lack of time and easy access to work with a personal trainer. This is a nagative development, as it will restrict to only one person rather than working with others.
The one of the biggest reasons is the lack of time as many individuals spend most of time in their workplace so after work they feel exhausted. Therefore, they hire a personal trainer, who personally come their home and give them training. As a result, they become more productive without wasting time and concentrate more on work without any distractions. Furthermore, it is a easy eccess to work with a personal training because they want full attention to themselves and get more results easily. This is because some people get disturbed with others and they usually like to work in a piece so this is the most effective solution to hire a coach.
it could be argued that some people like to book a personal trainer because they do not waste their valuable time in travelling to another place for joining without interrupting their work life balance. As a result, they do more work in less amount of time as they believe a trainer will come to their home and will give trainning to themselves without go anywhere else.
I believe, hiring a trainer is not a positive development. It will bring a person to more into a isolating place where without social interactio

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for hiring personal trainers and stating a clear opinion that it is a negative development. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding time constraints and avoiding travel, which limits full development. For instance, the second and third paragraphs reiterate very similar points about saving time and working from home. While a clear position is maintained throughout, the supporting arguments would benefit from greater variety and extension to reach a higher band level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates an overall logical progression, with paragraphing used to separate the introduction, body points, and conclusion. Cohesive devices are attempted (e.g., 'Furthermore', 'As a result'), but referencing is occasionally faulty, such as 'This is a nagative development' following a rather abrupt opening sentence. Furthermore, logical flow suffers slightly due to repetitive arguments between paragraphs two and three. The conclusion is incomplete, abruptly cutting off at the end, which weakens the overall structural coherence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The lexical range is adequate for the task, attempting some less common vocabulary such as 'exhausted', 'distractions', and 'valuable time'. However, there are numerous spelling and word choice errors, including 'nagative', 'eccess', 'piece' instead of 'peace', and 'trainning'. Collocations are occasionally unnatural, such as 'give them training' and 'work in a piece'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score to a band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, using clauses with 'because', 'so', and 'where'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the text, featuring frequent errors such as 'people in many countries like to hire' instead of 'prefer to hire', 'due to the lack of time and easy access to work' (fragmented structure), and missing prepositions or articles ('come their home', 'to work in a piece'). The unfinished final sentence ('where without social interactio') also highlights poor grammatical control. These errors frequently strain the reader.
