Student answer (Band 6.0)
In some countries, mainly developed ones lifestyle has been changed extensively. People are more concerned about their health and fitness. They are looking for best options for their consitent workouts to remain healthy. One of the way of maintaining this is hiring a personal fitness trainer. There are several reasons for doing this and this development have both physical and negative impacts.
First and foremost reason of hiring personal trainer is the work schedule of today's family members. Almost every adult of the family is working and remains out of their home for about 8 to 10 hours of a day. These people don't get time to spend in playing any sports or join a scheduled workout class. They prefer to hire personal trainer as it gives them flexibility of time as per their schedule. On the other hand, personal trainers also provide workout, diet plans as per the need and medical history of an individual. They will customize and plan your whole day and monitor your progress closely. The results are fast and satisfying, helps in achieving goal.
Although this is a positive development, however, there is a negative impact as well. Hiring personal trainer is expensive. People need to spend quite a high amount to hire them. Although people in many developed countries can afford it but few families still struggles for their day to day expenses which force them to compromise with either their health.or their pocket.
This development seems positive in all aspects apart from one negative impact on people's pocket. I would like to share an example of the positive side of this development. One of my neighbour was suffering from PCOD and struggling to reduce her weight. She created her diet plan with the help of AI and joined gym sessions. She observed few changes but didn't get the required results as there was no specific guidance. Then she decided to hire a personal trainer in her gym only with whom she shared her medical issue, her requirement and the goal. The trainer has given her diet plan, created a customize workout plan and motivate her regularly. She was able to reduce her required weight within 6 months for which she was struggling for a year.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question: you explain that busy work schedules make personal training more convenient, and that trainers can tailor exercise and diet plans. Your position is clear overall: you regard the trend as positive despite its cost. The neighbour’s experience gives relevant support to the benefits, while the affordability point recognises a genuine drawback. This covers the task well, but the reasons are not equally developed: the schedule explanation is clear, whereas the claim that results are “fast and satisfying” is asserted rather than explained. The negative side is also brief and could be explored beyond household budgets. To strengthen the response, develop the reasons with more explanation and weigh the benefits against the cost more explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, a drawback, and a personal example. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the main points, and transitions such as “First and foremost” and “Although” signal relationships between ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Although this is a positive development, however” uses two contrast markers, and the final paragraph repeats the view that the trend is positive rather than drawing the discussion together. The example is relevant but would connect more smoothly if its lesson were explicitly linked to the earlier point about individual guidance. Use transitions more selectively and make each paragraph advance the argument rather than restate it.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “flexibility of time,” “medical history,” “customize a workout plan,” and “monitor her progress closely.” These phrases help communicate the practical benefits of personal training, and the example is specific. There are, however, some spelling, word-form, and collocation problems that reduce precision: “consitent workouts,” “one of the way,” “physical and negative impacts,” and “created a customize workout plan.” “Physical and negative” is especially unclear because it does not express the intended contrast. Aim for more natural combinations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise language for the drawbacks and benefits would make the argument sound more controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “although,” “as,” and “which,” and the main ideas remain understandable. Some grammatical errors persist, particularly with agreement, articles, and verb forms. For example, “this development have” should be “this development has,” “few families still struggles” should be “few families still struggle,” and “One of my neighbour was” needs a plural noun and matching verb. There are also awkward sentence constructions, such as “The results are fast and satisfying, helps in achieving goal,” where the subject and verb relationship is incomplete. Review agreement and sentence boundaries, and revise complex sentences to ensure each clause is grammatically complete.
