Student answer (Band 6.0)
Numerous people are prefering to hire a personal fitness trainer instead of participating in any kind of sports or excercising classes in various countries. Ample reasons are responsible for this change, including flexibility, individual strength and career opportunity. It is definitely a postive development.
The first and faremost reason of this change is its flexibility. Having a personal trainer can setup fitness sessions according to a person's choice, whereas other sports and classes would have fixed time that could be hard to follow on regular basis. For example, if an individual is working on daily hactic schedule and cannot follow the regular timetable, hiring a personal fitness couch can run classes in his or her spare time. Therefore, people do not have to wary of missing sessions.
Secondly, a fitness couch would take a joiner's strength into account. Everyone has different compacity to follow same excerises or sports, in other words a single game is not meant for all. When people prefer to play bedminton rather than basketball, can have an opponent to play with him or her on their level. Another example could be the strength exrecise is not appropriate for all. Hence, individuals can follow the steps they are comfortable with.
Last but not least, it has added a new career opportuniy in the market. Many young people struggle to find job these days, and being a personal fitness trainer could play a vital role in their employment. Famous figures always required one to track their fitness, and working with popular persons can help trainers to earn handsome money through this. As a result, adults can choose it as a great career.
In conclusion, although various factors are involved in the changes besides playing sports or doing excercise classes and joining personal fitness couch, such as time flexbility, personal strength and career enhancement, it is beneficial for both trainers and people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the question: it gives reasons for choosing a personal trainer and clearly states that this is a positive development. Flexibility and adapting exercise to individual ability are relevant reasons, and the examples about work schedules and different sporting strengths help explain them. The career-opportunity point is also relevant, but it is less directly connected to why people hire trainers; the discussion shifts to the benefits for trainers and gives limited explanation of how this trend creates employment. The conclusion restates the position, though its phrasing is unclear. To strengthen the response, develop the reasons from the client’s perspective and explain more fully why the overall benefits outweigh any disadvantages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, three reason paragraphs, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “The first,” “Secondly,” and “Last but not least” make the progression easy to follow, and examples are generally placed alongside the points they support. This gives the response a coherent arrangement, although the linking is somewhat formulaic. Some connections between ideas are not fully clear: the badminton example does not clearly show how a personal trainer accommodates an individual’s strength, and the career paragraph moves from trainers’ employment to famous clients without a smooth explanation. The conclusion also compresses several ideas into an awkward sentence. Use clearer links between each claim and its example, and vary transitions where appropriate.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses some relevant topic vocabulary, including “personal fitness trainer,” “flexibility,” “timetable,” “strength,” and “career opportunity,” so the main ideas are usually understandable. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “prefering,” “excercising,” “faremost,” “compacity,” and “couch” for “coach.” There are also unnatural combinations such as “run classes in his or her spare time” and “track their fitness.” The range is adequate for communicating the basic argument, but control of spelling, word forms, and collocation is inconsistent. Proofread carefully and learn common fitness-related phrases as complete expressions, such as “schedule a session” and “monitor someone’s progress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is an attempt to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrast in “whereas other sports and classes would have fixed time” and the conditional example beginning “if an individual is working…”. Most of the argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “Numerous people are preferring” uses an awkward tense for a general trend, while “can setup fitness sessions” lacks a clear subject and uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “When people prefer to play badminton…” is incomplete, and “Everyone has different capacity” needs an article or plural form. Work on complete clauses, subject–verb patterns, and articles, while retaining the complex structures you are attempting.
