Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today,s fast- pased world, although hiring of a personal fitness trainer has become a common trend among youth, they are not prefer to do exercise classes. In my view, this is a totally positive development because people are not doing hard work by themselves.
To begin with, there are myriad reasons why more and more people are hiring a personal fitness trainer instead of playing sports or doing exercise. First and foremost is, lack of awareness about the sport activities. This is a mainly because people have become workaholics with a lot of responsibilities from their personal and professional life, they do not get a extra time to know the instructions of sports. As a result, hiring a fitness trainer helps them to do exercise properly, guiding them a clear way without any physical hazards.
Furthermore, when individuals may start taking training from a trainer, it will encourage them to do all activities on time. Indeed, it prevents them from any kinds of injuries which they can face while doing any new exercise. For example, sometimes lifting a heavy weight in a gym without the supervision of coach, moving to them towards physcial risks unless action are not action on time, then problem can become more serious. In addition, even though the cost of trainer is a high in some places it may provides sense of safety and security to every person, who join the gym.
In conclusion, having discussed the cause and benefits ,I conclude that its merits are more significant than drawbacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both the reasons for hiring trainers and whether this is positive, and your position is clear in the conclusion: “its merits are more significant than drawbacks.” The points about limited time or awareness and injury prevention are relevant, but they are not fully explained. The opening claim that people “are not doing hard work by themselves” is unclear and does not establish why the trend is positive; explain instead how individual guidance or accountability benefits clients. The example about lifting weights is relevant but difficult to follow, so clarify the risk and how a trainer reduces it. The response is 242 words, below the 250-word minimum; the 10 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop the ideas further and add a specific supporting example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument, and the reasons generally appear in a sensible order. However, some links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. For example, “This is a mainly because” does not connect smoothly to the preceding point, while the long sentence beginning “For example, sometimes lifting a heavy weight” becomes difficult to follow. The conclusion is very brief and does not recap the main reasons. Use clearer sentence boundaries, make references such as “it” and “them” unambiguous, and ensure each paragraph develops one central point before moving on.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “personal fitness trainer,” “responsibilities,” “supervision” and “physical risks.” Phrases such as “myriad reasons” show an effort to use less common language, although some choices are inaccurate or unnatural. Examples include “sport activities,” “a extra time,” “moving to them towards physcial risks” and “provides sense of safety.” Spelling and word-form slips, including “pased” and “physcial,” also reduce precision. The reader can usually understand your intended meaning, but these noticeable errors sometimes make it harder to interpret particular sentences. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precise, familiar expressions are more effective than ambitious wording used inaccurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “although” and a conditional example about lifting weights. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “they are not prefer” needs a correctly formed verb, and “it may provides” has incorrect agreement after a modal. In “people have become workaholics … they do not get,” two independent clauses are joined without a clear grammatical link. There are also missing spaces after full stops and commas. Practise accurate clause joining, modal verb patterns and article use, then proofread sentence boundaries and punctuation.
