Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, an increasing number of people in some countries prefer to hire a personal fitness trainer to help them exercise. this essay will discuss the reasons for this approach before explaining why i consider it a positive trend.
to begin with, one of the main reasons for hiring a personal firness trainer is that they provide a customised fitness program tailored to one's individuals needs. moreover, having a personalized fitness course helps people stay motivated and while exercising and make effective use of limited time available. For example, a person who has a demanding job and family responsibility may miss a scheduled workout whime managing daiky tasks. Therefore, having a personalized schedule helps people stay motivated and maintain a comsistent exercise routine. As a result, this is particularly beneficial for those with busy schedules or for people who need specialized program tailored to their individual needs.
Turning to the second aspect, in my opinion, this is a positive development overall. this approach allows traineesto exercise more effectively by maintaining correct body posture and using equipment properly. This can reduce the risk of exercise-related injuries, particularly aong beginners. Although this approach has several benefits, it also has some drawbacks. Such as, hiring a personal fitness trainer is unaffordable for people on modest incomes.
In conclusion, while having a personal fitness trainer enables people to maintain a consistent routine under professional supervision and reduces the risk of injuries, it may be almost unaffordable for people with low incomes. However, this trend shows growing health awareness among people with busy lifestyles and can also motivate others to participate in sports or exercise in fitness centers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you give reasons for choosing a trainer, including tailored programmes and support for people with busy schedules, and you clearly state that you see the trend as positive. The points about professional supervision and injury prevention also support your view. However, some ideas are repeated rather than extended: the need for a personalised programme appears several times, while the affordability drawback is only briefly mentioned and not weighed against the benefits. The example of a busy worker is relevant, but its link to hiring a trainer could be explained more directly. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or specific example, and make the comparison between benefits and cost more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, moving from reasons to your evaluation and then to a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow this progression, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Turning to the second aspect,” and “In conclusion” make the stages visible. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Therefore” and “As a result” introduce closely related points, and the sentence beginning “Such as” is a fragment rather than a smooth continuation of the drawback. The first body paragraph also repeats the idea of a personalised schedule, which weakens progression. Use fewer formulaic transitions, connect each example directly to its claim, and organise each paragraph around one distinct point.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “customised fitness program,” “limited time,” “professional supervision,” and “exercise-related injuries.” These choices make the main ideas clear, and you attempt more specific expressions such as “modest incomes.” However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “one’s individuals needs,” “personalized fitness course,” and “specialized program tailored to their individual needs.” There are also spelling errors such as “firness,” “whime,” and “comsistent,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “individual needs,” “personalised training plan,” and “consistent exercise routine” consistently rather than repeating similar phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex forms, including a relative clause in “a person who has a demanding job” and a concession introduced by “Although.” Most of the meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur. Several sentences begin with lowercase letters (“this essay,” “to begin with,” and “this approach”), and “Such as, hiring…” is an incomplete sentence. In “helps people stay motivated and while exercising,” the structure is not parallel, while “a person … may miss” is followed by an example whose connection is not fully expressed. Review sentence boundaries, capitalisation, and parallel constructions. More consistently accurate complex sentences would make your argument easier to follow.
