Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify several relevant reasons for hiring a trainer, including busy schedules, convenience, tailored exercise and individual attention. The examples about working long hours and needing exercises for posture-related pain help explain these points. However, the task also asks whether this is a positive or negative development, and you do not give a clear judgement or explain its effects. The introduction promises to discuss the causes, while the conclusion only repeats them; neither answers this second part. Some reasons, such as cost efficiency, are listed but not explained. To strengthen the response, state your view directly and support it with a developed explanation, while expanding the less-developed points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining reasons, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. Within the body paragraphs, you generally connect a reason to an explanation—for example, busy schedules lead to choosing a trainer who is available at a convenient time. However, some linking is mechanical, and the conclusion ends with the incomplete phrase “All of it proved by supporting,” which disrupts the ending. The opening list also introduces “cost efficient” without developing it later. Aim to make each paragraph’s central point clear, use references and transitions precisely, and ensure the conclusion forms a complete summary and judgement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of task-related vocabulary, including “personal attention,” “specific exercise,” “time consuming,” and “social media,” which helps communicate the main reasons. There are also attempts at more precise expressions, such as “posture” and “time efficient.” However, spelling errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader work to identify the intended word, as in “fintnees,” “schdule,” and “indibviduals.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “types of exercise” and “all kind of it.” Build accuracy by checking spelling carefully and learning common collocations, such as “a busy schedule,” “individualised training,” and “attend exercise classes.” This would make your vocabulary more reliable and clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “while,” and “which,” as in the explanation that classes require travel while a personal trainer can fit an individual’s schedule. These attempts show some range, but errors in sentence structure and basic grammar are frequent and can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “individuals tends” has subject–verb disagreement, and “everyone have” should use a singular verb. The sentence beginning “To feel relax from the pain” also has an incorrect verb form, while “during calsse one tuoter heLping out bunch of people” lacks a complete, correctly formed clause. Practise agreement, verb forms, articles, and complete sentence construction, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
