Student answer (Band 6.0)
In few countries, a lot of people choose to workout and get a personal trainer than compared to playing outdoor games or doing some basic exercise events. The reasons could be based on personal opninions and interests. I find this as positive with few negative outcomes to it.
To begin with, large number of people are now going to the gyms and are hiring the personal fitness trainers to workout under their supervision to get the best results. This is a good development of interest as it will give more structured trainning as the fitness teachers are more knowledgable and have ample amout of experience to teach every clients according to the physical structure of that person. Additionally, this also creates a regualr routine for the fitness enthusiast to follow as they have a mentor who will motivate them to be more disciplined. For an instance, there is a clear difference seen in a guy who does workout by himself as he is a beginner and is keen to make mistakes and learn from it meanwhile the guy getting trainned under the fitness coach is more likely to make less mistakes as he is under constant supervison.
Along with the pros there comes the cons of working under the gym trainner. Not everybody can afford the gym trainner as they have high monthly fees. Apart from that a normal human being who is healthy does not need to get trainned under the trainer. For example a normal working individual can play sports or do basic exercise like running and walking to stay healthy and fit without going to the gym and spending recklessly on specialised courses.
To conclude, It is better to get trainning under the fitness supervior but that is not something that everybody needs to stay fit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you give reasons for choosing a trainer, including expert supervision and motivation, and state that you see the trend as positive overall despite affordability concerns. These points are relevant, and the comparison between a beginner exercising alone and someone coached helps illustrate the benefits. However, the reasons for the growing preference are not fully explained: the opening refers to personal opinions and interests but does not develop these, and the response focuses more on advantages and disadvantages than on why the trend is increasing. The negative side is also less developed, relying mainly on cost and the claim that healthy people do not need a trainer. Explain these points more precisely and support them with fuller examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a conclusion. The progression from advantages to disadvantages is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Additionally,” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. This already gives the essay a coherent shape. To make the flow more flexible and precise, avoid relying so heavily on formulaic transitions and connect ideas through clearer references and cause-and-effect links. For example, “Along with the pros there comes the cons” signals a shift, but the following points could be linked more explicitly to the question of why people choose trainers. The long example beginning “For an instance” also contains several ideas that would be clearer if divided and connected more carefully.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “personal fitness trainers,” “supervision,” “structured training,” “mentor,” and “disciplined.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and there is some attempt to use more specific language than basic terms such as “exercise.” However, inaccurate word choice, spelling, and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the writing less natural: “exercise events,” “fitness teachers,” “normal human being,” and “spending recklessly on specialised courses” do not express the intended ideas precisely. Several words are also repeatedly misspelled, including “trainning,” “knowledgable,” and “supervison.” Build a more accurate range of collocations for fitness and exercise, and proofread spelling so that your relevant vocabulary is presented clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “as,” “who,” and “while,” and the main message is generally understandable. Some sentence structures are controlled, such as “Not everybody can afford the gym trainer as they have high monthly fees.” However, there are some errors in sentence construction, articles, agreement, and punctuation. For example, “In few countries” needs an article, and “a large number of people” requires an article; “every clients” has a number-agreement error. The opening comparison, “choose to workout and get a personal trainer than compared to,” is also structurally unclear. The long sentence beginning “For an instance” joins contrasting ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate comparisons and breaking complex sentences into well-punctuated clauses.
