Student answer (Band 6.0)
People in many countries prefer having their own personal trainer, instead of doing outdoor activities like playing soccer, tennis, or even attending exercise classes. I believe personal trainer is convient and private. You can have a direct training and get exertly what you want though it come with a price.
On one hand, I believe people engage the services of a person trainer beacuse the are aiming at a particular achievement on their body just to be fit. And also it is very convenient to have a personal trainer because he/she will work with your free town, when it is convenient with you, and he can come over to your house or an agreed venue for the session.
This can have a postive development because when your own personal trainer, he/she gets to understand such as your body, weakness, strength and the goal you want to achieve. When that is been discussed and understood it will help as guide for the trainer to train you to achieve your fittness easily..
One the other hand, it has a negative effect to your development because you are stuck to one pattern of exercise if your instrutor are not good enough, he will be giving a wrong program that wont help your body to achieve your goal. And it is also going to be very expensive because you are the only one that he is going to be training.
In my opinion, I prefer to have my own private trainer, I understand that it is going to be expensive, but because it is going to be convenient for me due to the nature of my work, the instructor will work with my free time.
In conclusion, Personal trainer has both negative and positive impact. The negative is that I am limited to only his experience and the financial implication of having only me been trained and lack of encouragement from others if we are more in numbers but the positive is better because he is focus on you alone and you can have easy access to him and ask questions and he understands your body system, and your desired body results are achieved faster.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you give reasons for hiring a trainer, including convenience and personalised guidance, and discuss positive and negative effects. Your position is also clear in the final opinion that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The points about flexible scheduling and a trainer understanding a client’s strengths, weaknesses and goals are relevant. However, the reasons for the trend could be developed more fully, and some claims need clearer explanation—for example, how a trainer helps someone achieve fitness goals more effectively. The negative point about being limited by an instructor’s experience is relevant but would benefit from a specific example or fuller explanation. Develop each main idea with a clear cause, consequence or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, discussion of advantages and disadvantages, a personal view and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the main stages of your argument, and signposts such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” make the direction clear. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some stronger control through a logical sequence. However, the contrast markers are not always used precisely: “On one hand” introduces a reason, while the next paragraph shifts to positive effects without a clear link. Some references, such as “this” and “it,” could also be more specific. Use transitions that show the exact relationship between ideas and connect each paragraph more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “personal trainer,” “convenient,” “exercise classes,” “goal,” “expensive” and “financial implication.” These choices make your main meaning understandable, and you attempt some topic-specific phrasing such as “body system” and “desired body results.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling or word-choice errors reduce precision, including “convient,” “exertly,” “fittness” and “instrutor.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “work with your free town” and “stuck to one pattern of exercise.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for scheduling, tailored training and fitness outcomes, and proofread spelling and word forms so your ideas are expressed more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when” and “if,” as in “because it is going to be convenient for me due to the nature of my work.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, and the response includes some sentence variety. However, errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “people engage the services of a person trainer” and “when your own personal trainer” are incomplete or incorrectly formed, while “the are aiming” and “he is focus on you” show problems with verb forms and agreement. “When that is been discussed” also needs a more accurate passive construction. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, and review articles and agreement in longer clauses.
