IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to cancel my booked part-time course. I recently booked a photography course at your college. I got interested in the course when I came to college to register for a course, which will help me to upgrade my skill.

Furthermore, now I looked into the content that would be taught in the course. Most of the content is already familiar to me because my father own's a photography studio and gave me lessons time to time. Moreover, I consult them regarding the course and he suggested me to cancel the booking of this course.

However, my father also suggested to me the new editing course that our college introduce this year. He also said that this course will be a good option to upgrade your skill. So, I think twice before writhing this letter but came to same conclusion to cancel my previous booking and opt for editing course.
