You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to request some alterations to a part-time course that I booked at your college.

Last week, I enrolled in the computer science course and paid my tuition fees. I was so excited to learn advanced skills in that course, which will be useful for me in the future when searching for jobs. This is the most demanding course and beneficial for internships.

I sincerely apologize for not getting enrolled. I knew how inconsiderate the inconvenience was to you. The main reason for not getting enrolled in this course was the work schedule that I received shortly afterward, which seems to have the same timings, creating a problem when focusing on both work and classes.

I would be grateful if you could enroll me in the advanced communication course. The classes for this course are usually on weekends, which aligns with my work schedule. Moreover, it would be advantageous for me to gain experience in developing communication skills, which would help me in my daily routine.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience caused you. Hope you will consider my request.
