IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I would like to write a letter to the college administrator about cancelling my registration for a part-time course at the college.

First of all, I registered for a welding course as a part-timer at Sheridan College in Brampton. Actually, I love this course and am very curious to learn more about it, which is why I booked it.

I cancelled my registration for this course because my mind was diverted to another course, Plumbing Technician. Another reason is that demand for the above course is very high at the current time. Moreover, I have an eye problem, so it was hard for me to work in such an industry.

Furthermore, I pursue an education in plumbing technician because I am very eager to know about how to fit pipes in the house or in a large building.

I would request that the college administrator cancel my registration.
