IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to inform you that I am not able to pursue my part-time course in your college which I have booked recently.

I had enrolled for computer Java language course for six months, because I want to enhance my software knowledge and get better job opportunities in IT field.

Unfortunately, I have to cancel my current booking because I have been selected in the IT company last week and they primerly work with AZUR instead of JAVA. I have completed my IT engineering recently and have some thoertical and practical knowledge about AZUR.

I would like to request you to book me for AZUR course if your college offer classes. This is quite helpful for me to polish my skills and broadens my horizons of knowledge. By doing this course, I definitely grow easily within the organization.

I hope you will consider my request and change my course. I am waiting for your positive response.
