IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well, i am writing this letter to inform you that i want to cancel my booking for the French part-time course which i intend to join at your college.

I was so delighted after reserving a seat in the mentioned program and was very excited to begin the classes as soon as they starts because learning new languages is my hobby and i also understands the benefits of being bilingual. However, due to the conflict of the class timings with my work schedule. I reached out to my employer to change my work schedule so i can pursue this program but they refused to do so because of their work operations. Due to which, i am unable to attend the course.

I checked the college website and discovered about the Spanish program which is suitable with my work timings. I am really interested in joining this course. Please let me know if you are still enrolling more students. i will be very thankful to you.
